Microsoft has taken the wraps off an amazing offer for UK and US college and university students today.

College and university students in the UK and US with a valid email address will be able to purchase Windows 7 Home Premium or Windows 7 Professional (upgrade versions) for £30 and $30 respectively. The offer will run until 3 January 2010 when the prices will revert to normal.
